If distributed leadership is an important driver of student achievement, we are seeking evidence that indicators of distributed leadership are correlated with student achievement outcomes. More specifically, we are interested in understanding the importance of various components of distributed leadership as related to student achievement. We hypothesize that the Math Teacher Leader and Math Teaching Specialist roles within a school are related to student achievement. Further, we hypothesize that the overall strength of the communication network, as defined by the network density, is related to student achievement.
